Here's just a small sampling of the ways we have partnered with our patients to provide optimal oral health.

1. Metal-free Full Porcelain Crowns

We use only the best materials which create a very natural appearance.

Full Porcelain Crowns are a great replacement for old metal based crowns.

For many years dentists have used crowns that have either gold or metal as the underlying structure and they would have to layer porcelain on the metal to look like a natural tooth.  These new crowns are all porcelain with no metal equating to better health, better aesthetics, and more longevity.

2. Cone Beam 3D Radiology

3D Cone beam technology uses data to reconstruct a three-dimensional (3D) image of your mouth to better aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Three-dimensional (3D) imaging allows us to more accurately diagnose and predictably treat patients than with conventional two-dimensional (2D) imaging.  As seen above, this scan allows us to map vital structures and bone configuration with precise accuracy for implant planning and placement.

3. Milled Zirconia Denture Replacement

This type of restoration is called the Zurich Bridge.  It consists of a zirconia substructure with overlaying porcelain teeth.

Nobody loves their denture

Dentures are limiting.  They limit what you eat, what you say, how you talk, and how you smile.  They are incredibly uncomfortable. They are either too loose and need to be held in with messy denture cream or they are too tight and pinch and jab and poke your gums whenever you eat or smile.  So why not get rid of them?  That's what Joan did.  Here is her case.

This is the final result!  We did the same treatment on the top as we did the bottom.  We replaced the old upper and lower denture plates with implant retained teeth.  She had 5 implants placed on the top and 5 implants placed on the bottom.  We made custom milled zirconia substructures and added beautiful full porcelain crowns.  She now has no limitations.  She can eat what she wants, speak without lisping, and smile all she wants.

"I was so embarrassed and ashamed about letting my teeth go.  I'm a single mother who spent my life putting my four children first and consequently my own dental health suffered.  I was a wreck both physically and emotionally.  Dr. Hill and his staff compassionately took my hand and guided me through an incredibly tough journey of recovery.  The treatment was excellent.  The service was superb.  The result was amazing.  Thank you Wood River Dental Care!
